IFAFA COMMUNITY HAS ITS SAY ON PROPOSED BUDGET 

 

Umdoni Municipality held another successful engagement with the community of Ward 7, at Ifafa Sports Ground where residents of this ward shared their inputs towards the proposed budget. 

 

Whilst residents were appreciative of having a Councillor that is efficient, they made requests to have new service delivery projects to be implemented in the area to make this community affluent.  Residents also took an opportunity to commend their Councillor for always being available to assist them. “It is pleasing to witness testimonies from residents praising the hard work of a Councillor and we commend Cllr Mthwane for representing Umdoni well,” said the Mayor, Cllr Mbali Cele- Luthuli. 

 

The proposed budget seeks to significantly improve services of verge and streetlight maintenance, road repairs and pothole patching which were some of the service delivery priorities raised by the Ward 7 community.
